Snook - Soopa: Figure it Out!

Guys,

We are not sure what it up with you two (and don't need to) but, with regards to the two boards currently up and running:

You need to help us figure out how to keep this group together. Frankly we like you both, you both run good boards and Tim has good stuff which we like to buy. Soopa has our CLS interests first which we also like.

However, we need to come to one board - so let's have one board - and then provide links to the other board and potentially Tim's merchandise/info pages.

I hate to think that we divide the members between the two locations - it was bad enough with HA-net.

So, can you swallow pride (if that is required) and figure it out?

Please?

I just noticed something, looks like ha.net still has all the old posts.

Mike, I tried to respond to this same topic of yours at the other place.

But it just gets deleted and I get banned...

So here was my response over there:
----------
This will probably be deleted since all my responses here to peoples questions have been deleted so far... & I will be prolly banned again too.

BUT... WE HAVE come to a decision.

Acura-CL.com is where this started... and its where it is at now. If Tim wants to be stubborn and leave this board up... so be it. It will be yet another desolate wasteland like HA.

Most of the newbies visit Acura-CL.com first... and all us senior boys come from there to.

Thats our new forum.

As for the "info" portions of the site... well... that all belongs on acura-cl.com, which IS the CL site. And the content is being added to day by day.

As for Merchandise and shit... well... Im not gonna start a parts company or anything...

Im not after personal profit... I make the site/forum just to enjoy... and to let other people enjoy.

Tim profits off his parts sales from my forum etc... and thats fine...

As long as Tim gives good prices I will continue to link to AutoCarParts for CL merchandise.

That way all of you guys can spend all your time at acura-cl.com and find links to all the information... merchandise you need.

Im just out to make everything easier... more convenient... and more stable for all of us... im just another one of you... just wanting to enjoy my car.

anyway... if this isnt deleted... hope it will clear things up... and I hope to see you at the CL forum.
----------

Now I'll post my response to the replys in this topic:

NO CHANCE IN HELL we will reunite.

We are here to stay... and I will make sure this forum is on top of the world.

Im here for you guys... its as important to me as it is to you to have a place to congregate and chat bout the car I love.

Lets just get on with it shall we?

Adam,

Thanks for the explanation. Now I/We understand more. I'm going to stay here and use this one. I spend too much time here, adding another won't cut it.

How are you going to fund this though?

Yeah, I'm going to stay here to. I followed Adam over the Acura-CL.com from the very beginning, so I'm definately going to stay with them. If you also look, the other board is slowing down as far as traffic.

This site has shown to be stable, and it's run by a good guy, so why would you consider leaving or going somewhere else? it's obvious that most of the CL drivers on the net have already found there way here anyways

I am just following the crowd, and the crowd seems to have moved over here.
Rather quickly I might add.

I think everything is cool. As long as we have somewhere to post info and experiences about our cars, it will be fine. Especially if the server is reliable and the current mods are in place. Where are our avatars though?

Has anyone else noticed that the amount of crap threads has gone way down too. I think the "serious" posters have come over here, and the trouble makers aren't bothering to.
