Smoked a 5speed Maxima
Well yesterday I was coming home from San Diego on Interstate 5. I was driving faster than I would normally drive, I had a meeting to get to. Well I was casually cruising at about 90mph. In my rearview mirror I see a black car weaving in and out of traffic trying to catch up to me. He's cutting people off left and right, trying to get out of the pack. As he gets closer I notice that its a maxima, the ones with the ugly round tailights, current generation. As he starts to approach, I begin to slow down to 80 and wait. As he begins to pass me I gun it, he passes me by about one car, then I quickly make up the gap and start pulling on him. We keep increasing speed with me keeping a 3-5 car lead. I eventually hit about 135. We then both begin to slow down. It is the border patrol checkpoint. We are in separate lanes and come to a stop at the checkpoint. He starts revving on me at the checkpoint, I was thinking WTF? this guy is crazy revving on me with all the border patrol all around. Well the border patrol guy starts laughing and tells me, "i think chief wants some", I smile and say "ya i guess so". Well I quickly glance around for any highway patrol cruisers that may be hiding out at the checkpoint, none to be seen. I turn my vsa off and gun it. I hear him grind gears during his shift from 1st to 2nd. I'm ahead by about 1 1/2 cars and definitely pulling on him. By about 100mph I'm ahead by at least 4 cars. At this point I'm thinking awww fuck it, and I let off the gas and start cruising back down to about 75 as he flies by me with a middle finger sticking out the driver side window. The funniest part is about 2 miles later I see a highway patrol car with his sirens on, hauling ass passing me up. About five miles later I see the maxima pulled over. Hahaha, that was the funniest thing to happen to me in a long time. The funny thing was as I was passing them I slowed down a little and started laughing my ass off, making sure the maxima driver would see me laughing at him, which he did.

got flipped the bird the other weekend by a maxima while driving a UHAUL in the right lane on 270N!
wtf? i'm moving all my shit. the 18' was packed to the gills. its a uhaul for crying out loud. its lucky to make it to the posted speed limit going downhill.

those are the best stories! it's pretty funny when you are racing/pacing, but then ya ease it off cuz of speedtraps or whatever. .and then ya see that bastard on the shoulder caught by highway patrol. oh well i'm mean.
