Just kinda curious, has anyone ever had smoke come out of their vents just for a few seconds like once every few months. I know I sound crazy but I've noticed it like three times now since I bought my 03 cl type s back in January and just thought it was strange. It seems to happen when the AC is on and the vehicle is accelerating. Sorry if you guys have talked about this before nothing pops up when i search and by no means is this an issue just plain curiosity.

 

You sure it's smoke? Not water vapor? Does it have a smell?

And no, I haven't ever experienced that in my vehicle.

 

Could be condensation...

Are you in a humid climate?

 

I hadn't thought of it being possibly water vapor. that's probably it haha.
It didn't really smell or smelled extremely faint at least.

It was not very humid probably around 70 degrees out when it has happened.

 

I used to have it happen all the time with my CL-S. As long as it doesn’t smell it’s most likely just water vapor. Your accelerating so pushing more air past the condenser then when sitting idle. Just colder than the air in the cabin of the car.

When you’re smelling something or its white smoke then you would have to worry lol.

 

I've seen that on mine. Just assumed it was water vapor.
