I was super excited too.. the exhaust guy got swamped with work from Summit racing... Well that is what he tells me..

He promised he would make a few... like friggen 2 months ago...

I cut him an e-mail early this week... I hope he friggen responds.. but he is very well known for just shipping the parts out without letting me know.. so maybe he will surprise me and send me 1 very soon for the final test fit.

It is out of my hands... I asked him if he was still interested in making the dumps and he said YES..100% without a doubt...he just needs to finish up the large order for Summit racing, since that where alot of his money is made... I do not blame him, but Scalbert went through the same thing with the Intercooler.. We are just small fish and put on the back shelf till they have time.

.... guess he does not want money or something... Oh well... I'll keep you guys posted when I know something..

For future reference, best if you PM me...

15hp huh?? Is that on the S/C application? I'm assuming N/A gains would be much less. Less than 10 hp.

That it will only produce those 10-15hp gains stated above on a S/C application and not the same numbers on a N/A car..

Ohhh the drama...

On a serious note pimpcls you don't want this mod unless you have a S/C.. It will only hurt the performance of a N/A car..

louder? remove the cat, weld a pipe to make it straight, it will be LOUDER for no more that $35-40 from a muffler shop. no hp. pimpscls, you can also try magnaflow mufflers, those are pretty loud depending which ones you get.

^^ Yeah that's what I was thinking Zap. Don't really know if it is worth it though for my N/A application. I could spend $2-300 on something else.

An e-mial from the exhaust they guy

It is still here. I am so swamped. I have been working 12 - 14 hrs a day trying to keep up. I ordered the stuff needed to make the jig for your pipe. I just have to get it done and finish welding the pipe. I am sorry it is taking so long. It seems that every time I think I am getting caught up I get about 20 - 30 orders and I am behind again. I will try to get the jig done and get yours welded up so you can test it out before I commit to making a production run on them.

I would like to gain approx 20+ hp from this mod.

JRock: YOu would lose torque, but chances are that you will not be dumping at 3K.

Allmotor: does this sound feasible?

Carl: Powder coat? I can provide up to 1,000 degrees F, but colors are limited. If less than 36", very possible.

I think I will just get a cut out, manual or remote controlled, and install it after the catalytic converter. This will be easy enough to do and if manual, should be minimal in cost.

But if this really wants to be made, I know a shop which probably could do it just fine.

Yeah thanks Steve, I am going to give the guy 1 more month to produce, if he does not then I will contact you and send the dimensions over to your contact.

Question for you.... do you have the Comptech exhausts & B-pipe?

I would hate to cut into my B-pipe to install after the cat..

Nope, stock exhaust completely.

Ah, I don't mind hacking stuff.
