since test drive car reviews seem to be the rage...
here's my review after test driving a MB CL500 yesterday:
awesome.
awesome pick up.
awesome brakes.
awesome power.
awesome interior space.
awesome interior.
awesome handling for a huge ass car.
awesome everything.
to date its the most expensive car i've ever driven in my long 14 month driving history.

what dealer let a youngster like you take a CL500 out for a spin?? you must have REEEEALLY been bullshiting them, or bullshiting us. a MB dealer isnt an amusment park, they arent in the business of letting kids drive their high end cars aroud for fun with no intent to buy.

Jimcol711 maybe this young man has a friend at the dealership that arranged a test drive or possibly his parents own a few Benzes and their sales representative at the dealer ship allowed the kid a cruise in one of these fine automobiles ?????
Over all maybe you could take it easy on the kid ,it seems to me you were a bit critical ??????

My 2 cents ...
ItalianStallion's family has some money and a few Benz's from this place ... that's all good as lots of people own Benz's. But guess what folks ... this is how you make a Benz fan for LIFE with an experience like this. I know I would never forget it. Personally ... I say this is a salesman looking out for the long term![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I mean heck ... not quite the same, but when I was 16 I got a used '86 CRX Si and that sucker went from 60K to 180K miles and made me a Honda fan for life

"Test Drive" doesn't always necessarily mean going to a dealership. A family/friend could have had one etc...

who the hell cares? i'm no one important and the MB dealer let me take out a SLK320 and E320 when i was first looking for a car. they even let me take out a CL500 once and i was gone for 30 mins without a sales person....

I agree... can't younger folk buy an MB?? Afterall, perception isn't always reality, Right??
I'm 24 and they let me drive one as well as a 530 and an A6.

haha, i didnt know anyone replied. speculation, speculation....
yeah we dont have any benz's from this place yet but a family member is the sales manager, so he let my dad (who wants a CL) take me and my lil bro for a test drive. well my dad pulled over and asked if i wanted to drive, i couldnt turn him down. it was fun.
soon we will be in the benz family tho, we're 4th for an E55 and that might go to my mom while my dad wants to pick up a CL.
