Silly center compartment.
After alot of use the plastic clip gets puhed out some from use. I just opened it and bent the clip the other direction and it stopped popping up over bumps. If that dsnt work for you just buy a new clip piece it is cheap.
x2 Bend it back in the position it needs to be in so it'll clip the part(hole) like it did when u bought the car. Just don't haulk up and break the damn thing off.
do it a bit then try, until u fix it

Also make sure you have all of the screws in the lid part. One of mine worked itself loose and made the door wobbly and it wouldn't catch the latch part. I found the missing screw resting down inside the compartment and re-installed it. Good as new!
You could try putting some weight in it like a roll of quarters, I know it doesnt fix the problem but if bending it doesnt work then it probably needs to be replaced and if you dont want to spend the money this is a good way to keep it down for now

lol, just slice off a hunk for everytime u need to fill up.. that'd be joke, trade grams of gold for GALLONS of fuel.
lol and now that gold is rising, gas would become cheaper technically (assuming we all had a hunk of gold sitting in our cars) haha

Mines not messed I just had to tighten it but I was looking for the thing in the center console by the shifter that says PRN D5 D4 + etc its like a 2 cent part but they want me to buy the whole shifter gate i think $150 I was like WTF!
i kno this is off topic.. but has anyone had their rear-view mirror break on them?
Cause I think I bought my car with it not functioning to begin with LOL (u can laugh at me) all this time I thought ,"oh it must be working how could it break" but it did. Green light was on and no movement.
So today (had nothing to do for a WHILE) I bought another one from the DLR. I heard it use to be worth 240+ taxes; eventually however, enough people complained about having to replace them at such a high cost that they made a different version and obviously made it to be much more affordable 85.43$ I got it for all in. they even had one in stock. how convenient
I was amazed by the difference when i drove home from work tho. To think what i've been putting up with/missing. Kinda like the OPs armrest.
Just goes to show, if you don't fix things asap, you either begin to put up with it. weird how that works.
Srry for the thread jack
But on topic, i say put a dab of jb weld on the screw thread themselves to prevent them for slithering out all the time and the issue would be fixed. If you ever need to remove the screws to can do so by force (without ruining anything)

that it actually breaks that often that they actually have it in stock, but when your shit happens to break, you're like F*** YEAH, with not having to wait on the part being orderedso kinda like a doable edged sword
hmm yea maybe it literally dims the mirror. I had one that did that in a blue tinge but this one is like black tint. I like it.
Anyways mine crapped out. It was a city car and was in Toronto traffic all its life, so probably many hrs in the dark; I bet that mirror paid it's dues, it just was used up, like my trans at 96000kms. :-( ah well all is mint now.

it'll hold it's value in the long run. Unlike any currency.
It's just worthless paper backed by NOTHING.
Before, the American $ Bill was backed by the EQUIVALENT in gold. Look on a bill now, it says "this bill is legal tender" IE if your currency devalues you have nothing.
funny how things change.
You know what changed that? Your not gonna believe this. I swear it's true.
A man was going to get his home repo-d and he took them to court and argued the contract he signed is illegitiment because the money the bank supplied him with wasn't actually worth anything, it was worthless paper (it was merely a representation of value).
This is not too long ago either.
Google that shit

Gold will hold SOME value in the long run but not the value it's been artificially inflated to currently. Like anything, it's only worth what someone is willing to actually give you for it. I can say my piece of gold it worth $1000000000 but that's only true if someone gives me that much for it. Until then, it's just another worthless rock. US currency has been backed by a number of things in the past. Silver Certificates are still backed by silver.
I'll 2nd the part about checking the screws. I had 2 of the screws in the bottom side of my console fall out. Put them back in and everything is good.

Any ideas? I've tried velcro, doesn't work in hot or cold weather, the glue tends to fail in those conditions.
