Show & Tell Polished Plenums & AutoX Pics
So lately I have been feeling the urge to mess around with my CL. Since I have owned this car, I never really messed around with it, because we have 3 race cars. Maybe from coming on here every couple of days, it makes me feel like working on my CL. So I decided that I need to start by cleaning up my engine bay. So I decided to take the plenums on my car to get polished, along with the 4" intake. The plenums were actually a little expensive to polish; however, they came out really nice. They charged me $100 each side to polish. So I paid a total of $200 to polish the plenums. I have not picked up the intake from polishing yet. So no pictures of that yet.
I also decided that I will try and make 275 HP Naturally Aspirated on my car, without going inside the engine. So I am going to be doing a custom 3" exhaust and modifying the bottom of my header, to help achieve these numbers. Also by next week I will be porting my intake manifold and boring the TB, when I reinstall the plenums. This will help make really good gains on this engine.
I will keep you all updated on my quest to 275 Hp NA.
Anyways, I took the car to a local AutoX yesterday. Here are two pictures.
Side note: I put Braided brake lines on the car this week, and I will say for sure, that it was surly a worthwhile upgrade. the braking feel is alot better.

I am so psyched about P2R. All I can say is thank god you decided to throw a J32 in a racecar. I see me losing money to you in my future.
PS: any idea what kind of gains a s/c J32 would see from the plenums?

P2R is thw way to go. They are helping me put together a nice little sleeper set up once the spare parts that I ordered gets here. Damn west coast to east coast shipping through USPS. Good polish job, I dont plan on doing any show and tell around here, just a lot of on road demonstrations.
