should i trust AEM?

my AEM CAI is broken, so i called up AEM and they told me to send the broken one in for inspection and they will send me a new one, but i go to school 5 days a week and work during the weekends, so i cant just send the intake in. i asked them if they can send me the intake first then i will send the broken one in after i install the new one. they said OK, but they need my credit card number as deposit. I am thinking that will they just charge me from my credit card? or they would just use it as a deposit.
should i Trust them?

That's a pretty normal practice. And if they pull anything funny you can tell your CC company not to pay..

Most companies will do this as a safety to make sure that they don't get screwed. If your hard drive broke and you needed a new one in a hurry, Maxtor would do the same. I wouldn't worry, but at the same time, put it on a platinum card (or similarly protected card).

You can trust them. if they do charge you, call the bank and dispute the charge. You care protected by VISA/MC

Why not?

90% of the site has trusted them by purchasing their product.

Is that a good enough answer?
