Should I trade my CL-S for S2000

I basically have the option to trade in my CL-S for a 2000 S2000. I might have to put a few dollars into it, but not too much. The S2000 has 15,000 miles on it. What do you think? and how is the resale value on our vehicle going?

damn it is hard as hell to find a s2000. The ones at the dealership that I saw in march had a 12k mark up! plus it is made in JAPAN
but dont pay more than $30k total value for it...Make sure you check the hell out of it before you trade...

I don't know dude? I was hell bent to buy one before I bought my CL-S. Like the other guy said, they were asking about 5K over sticker here in the valley and all they had was yellow one's. It's a fast ride and it's got allot of sex appeal but I am glad I purchased my CL-S. It's way more comfortable and has allot more ammenities. Good luck trying to shoe horn in an amp and sub in that little fuckin trunk they give ya. My vote is you are better off with what you have. My 2 cents.

Dude, what are you talking about?!?!

Hardly anyone is marking them up now... and most places their damn easy to find these days.

In my area alone... EVERY Honda dealership has at least 3-4 on the lot. The car is negotiable now. heh

Anyway Code, definately dont do it... the S2000 simply isnt a every day driver. Its not its mission in life. It would be a FABULOUS second car... but I wouldnt trade for it.

Maybe if your weather is sunny all the time... and you dont have alot of traffic around you... then id consider it. But otherwise... its just gonna drive you nuts heh!

With Soopa on this one.....you can get the car for MSRP all day long in my area (Long Island) and we are "over sticker" heaven like Cali- but not to the same degree.

Its definitely not an everyday car, its a toy- with few luxury features, 2 seats, sucks in bad weather.

Well I am one step closer to the deal, I should find out today. By the way, I live in Santa Barbara, CA. I could basically drive with the top down all the time, the weather is so nice here year round. I am really a racer at heart, I dont need all of the luxury that the CL-S has. And quite frankly, I have been somewhat disappointed with it. So we shall see =)

i had my friends s2000 for a week and i liked it. it got a lot of attention while i was driving it but i'm glad i made the CL purchase. it got tiring after a while getting in and out (i'm 6')and it felt like driving a really fast go-cart.
bottom line....CL for the long run , s2000 just for fun
