I called this speed shop called "track master's". They specialize in honda/acura tuning... i was wondering if they could dyno tune my car.. he said no, unless i have an aem power system or something of that nature... he also told me that pulley's are a complete waste of time and money!! is this true or should i go ahead and do it!??

your computer is not programable ...but there are a couple piggy backs available i.e. GReedy EManage ultimate or UNIChip... as far as pulleys...which pulleys? AEM IMO are a waste however Unorthodox Racing crank pulley will add 8+ HP top to bottom

yeah i figured the computer wasn't programable.. but i was just having wishful thinking.. b/c i know buddies that took their camaro's and mustang's to have a dyno tune done and they see good gains from it... didn't think it would work for my car though! but he told me any pulley was a waste of time! i think i'm going to get the ur crank pulley anyways!

Exactly. You can do some tuning with Apexi V-AFC also but from I have read there aren't really any gains to be had with it. Also the AEM accessory pulleys don't do anything. They are just for looks. The UR crank pulley does free up HP.

I was the original CL to get the UR crank pulley. There is a dyno on the UR site from about 4 years ago. My car had 1400 miles on it at the time, and the power increase was obvious.

No.. i didn't go.. i just called up there.. i know he has done some work with a lot of honda's/acura's but i was just trying to get some people's thoughts on the pulley's.. 170 isn't bad for a crank pulley if i'm going to tell a difference..

im lost on that subject bro.. Ive got a dealer friend lookin for a 03 6speed at the auction down in orlando.. couldnt handle drivin somethin else.. when i get it, ill holla at ya to check it out..
