What do you guys think about picking up a 2000 S2000 with 5000 miles on it. They are asking $24,000 for it. Its silver with black.
Will I have any troubles in snow or will I need snow tires?
My lease on my CLS is up the 28th this month.
Thx for the info,
Mike

Not meant to be driven in the snow at all with the OEM tires.
Snow tires would be a must. Doesn't like rain either--Had one for three months. Too small; too finicky unless you're racing it. Crummy radio--Only reason to buy is the 9000 rpm redline and handling= SCARY fast when in V-tech.

If the car hasn't been abused, go for it! The 2000 is a truly a work of art, and so full of spirit too!

I have a 01 S2000 and love it... Lot's of fun and a true performance car. But the CLS is the family and snow car.
Revving at 9K...
Me too... I love my S, but I wouldn't want to have to drive it everyday.

They're selling for $20-22K around here...& it's still vert season...
...they're looking at snow already in Ill. so I'm sure they'll take less...if not, look elsewhere...
Suzuka Master
damn 24k for a 2000 s2000. That resale value is soo much better than our cl-s. Oh yeah and our cars have an ACURA badge too!!!

Actually, I think you get a better resale value if you swap your "A" badge to the "H" badge.
All of the Honda Civics, Accords hold their value compare to Acuras.

Always negotiate price. When I bought my car. The salesperson even said that people will never pay what the dealer offers on used cars.
BTW, Im thinking about getting an 04 S2000.
