Thats the same way I am. How do you think I justified the 3.6 build? My clutch needed to be replaced and the timing belt was due, so.......

lol i went from a ford probe gt to a CL-S..

that's quiet a nice upgrade for me :-) I'm more than happy with my ride in all respects.

would i like is faster... yes

could I use the speed? .... NO

would a faster car make it even MORE likely to get speeding tickets etc.... HELL yes

Yeah it's definatly a huge upgrade from a probe, but you lost a manual transmission too

Go for it dude. It seems like you are on a budget and it also sounds like this is in your budget. You wont be dissappointed. I think that you should check ebay and craigslist first. I just bought a CLS-6 for $5800 6 months ago with 121,000 miles on it and couldnt be happier. I had to replace an axle and upper and lower ball joints, and after changing the timing belt, water pump, and doing a full tune up. Im pretty sure that my car will run just as long as the one one that you are looking at. You may be able to find one with a little more miles on it for less. Hey with the economy in the state that its in and many people having these cars and not knowing what they have, you should be able to steal one for about $7 grand. Good luck. After all like someone said earlier. What could you possibly buy that is as reliable as an Acura in the $7-9k price range?
