Should I reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery if I got CAI, headers, exhaust work done? If so, how long do I leave the battery disconnected for and then once I start the car what do I do? Thanks.
fuel mappings are constantly being modified based on your driving style, hence some people's claim that after they've revved the car high for a while, the car is peppy off the line...i was told after i received my CAI to make sure i rev somewhat high, like when merging onto the highway, to set fuel mappings in a higher range where the CAI performs better...driving on a road at constant speed will not really set mappings very well...u should vary your speed as if u were breaking in your car when it was brand new...it takes approx 75 miles to get a somewhat consistent mapping, then after that, it changes depending on how u drive...of course, i could b totally off; this is how i understood it at the time i installed my CAI in May.

Both. Dont forget to find your radio code before you do this, as you will need to put that in after you connect the batter again.</STRONG>
