Short Shifter Found for CL and CL-S
I've been reading the forum for a while now and was under the impression there were no short shifters made for our car....I have seen many members make a custom short shifter by cutting and welding but i didnt want to go that route....My friend keeps suggesting that i get one and i keep telling him they dont make one for our car until he came and showed me this....does anyone know of this one and if it will work....if no one knows i might make myself a guinea pig and try it out...

well i dunno how many people have cut and welded their shift knob...but i read one thread so far....gotta look for it....
but your saying....nopi is lying and thats just an adapter not a actual neuspeed short shifter as their title displays....and if so...how does it help or adapt to help making shifts shorter???
plus has anyone tried it before...?
will do search...

I've had the NS adapter in 2 6MT CL's. It makes a slight difference, but nothing that dramatic.
Cutting & welding the stock shaft is the only way to make it really shorter, but I don't feel the need to do all that. Throws are short stock, the NS adapter makes them shorter & a shorter knob will give it even more or a shorter feel.

Get the NS adapter and a shorter knob and the shifter height is about perfect. The NS adapter makes the shifts more "knotchy" but the distance the shifter travels from front to rear is reduced.

The link doesn't work.
Just go here:
http://www.nopionline.com
And select Acura and CL and Transmission.
I bought the short shift kit but this has an actual shortened shifter, too?
