After chasing a front end vibration problem through 2 Acura dealerships on L.I., I finally have my CL-S as smooth as the day I drove it home. The "shimmy" and vibration above 45mph are completely gone.

All the problems seemed to start back when Acura did the rotate and balance around 15k. I changed tires (twice), rotors, brakes, etc. After finding out Acura, despite their claims to the contrary, only “static” or “bubble” balance because of OEM rim design, I found a shop on L.I. that has the Hunter 9700. The machine speed balances the wheel under a load. Have it done, you won’t believe what you’ve gotten used to.

I used “House of Rims” in Bohemia. They are right off Vets Hwy near the airport. The owner, Joe, is a great guy and will fix you up. They also have a lot of aftermarket toys, and can get just about anything you want. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed.
