Well....the filenames of the pic contain "Deer Damage"....

Dayum! I have a crapload of deer in my neighborhood and every night there's a chance of me plowing into one of those suckers!

At first I thought it was a person... till i saw it spinning off the road.

I was just drivin along mindin my biznass... only car on the road... and the damn thing just ran right out in front of me.

It was pretty small... no horns or nothin...

I feel pretty bad about the deer. heh

I probably hit it at a good 30-40mph.

My dad hit a deer with his CL-S after having it for a month or two. The deer went up into the air over the car, and landed on the road about 10 feet in front of the car. But that isn't what made my dad REALLY mad - the deer got up and ran off!

Still, he got off lucky - his right headlight was a little crooked, which took 5 minutes to fix.

Sucks for you tho

Thank goodness you're safe. Deer vs. auto accidents can be deadly for all involved.

ouch yo

As I understand it, normally when you hit deer, you call up the po pos and they go out and shoot the deer if its slowly dying.

On to the next item of business..
I can see 2 coats 'Cribz quality' candy coated red in your future.

Damn, that sucks. At least it didn't cause that much damage. I've seen some cars that have been totaled after having a run in w/ deer before.

I wouldn't worry too much about the deer, by the looks of the damage, the deer will probably live a long life in which it'll probably dent a few more cars. The cars usually substain more damage then the deer in these types of accidents.

FYI: In MA there's a state law that says that after hitting a deer either the driver or passenger can claim the dead deer (even if it's not hunting season) after notifing the proper authorities.

Welcome to my world Adam. I got Bambi’s all over the place where I live.
I’ve got four “kills” to date over the years.
I got one with the RED CL-S, but luckily it only cracked the headlight.
When I’m working OT and go in to work early at 6AM I drive like 15-20MPH in some of the “trouble areas” that I know they frequent.

I hit one with my Legend Coupe many years ago and it did 4,800 in damage.
Plus I tossed it into a Chevy Blazer that was coming the other way. Probably another 4K to fix his ride.
It was his fault I hit the thing anyway. He had his high beams on and I couldn’t see the deer running toward the road.

Just one of the small drawbacks of living in the country.
It’s well worth it for all the benefits.

Look at the bright side. This is a GREAT way to get your insurance company to take care of all the stone chips you’ve got.

Hey Soopa sorry to hear that man hope your car gets a full recovery soon.

One thing though Soopa that looks a little long for being deer's hair are you sure you won't and thought it was a deer and hit something else.
