Shift Plate Pictures (00-03)
Well, we finally got that shift plate done. I'm doing a final test fitting tomorrow, but here's a pic of the piece itself. This fits the '00 and up CL's.

That is what I am planning to get tomorrow before we actually start to sell anything.
The piece is meant to go over your existing shift plate. We are not able to replicate the actual factory shift plate itself out of real aluminum. We just don't have that capability.
Here is a pic of the shift plate we make for the '98+ Accord to give you an idea of how it's supposed to look installed.

Very shortly. I had wanted this done on Monday, but none of the local guys with TL/CL's I know are available until either tomorrow or Fri. And the local dealer here isnt' the kind who would let me test fit on one of their cars.
So I'll have pics up soon and you can all figure out if it looks good or not.

We can do it in chrome, that's not going to be a problem. We can also do it in black chrome, or titanium.
and NSXNEXT, I'm not sure how it will look either. The edges are what Austin and I discussed for a long time. But the only way to find out is to make one and test fit it. I think it will look fine because a lot of the other cars we have the plates for have rounded edges too, and it works on those.

Happy CL-S Pilot
If I would be doing this over-the-original... I may just pop it up, buy some cheap Al-look tape or Carbon fiber look tape ... cover it with that and make the cutouts...

Here's a pic of a black chrome dash kit on a Ford Focus. It's chrome, but darker.

You're not the first to say that about the finish, as well as the car.

I didn't think of this, we got a ton of requests to make it so here it is. It's just for looks.
