I have a 2001 Acura CL-S Type with an automatic,

I was wondering if anyobe know who sells a wood or chrome plate cover for the shift console (Where now it is the stock gray\silver).

I found some place that sells the burlwood shift nob for $59, not I need to other part

Please help...

im not sure anyone sells different shift gates. the only thing ive heard of is people painting it like i did

 

go to edashkit.com, they got dash kits in all bunch of colors and trims... it includes the piece for the shift gate area

mine is brushed aluminum btw

 

how hard was it to take that thing off?

 

it was pretty simple, the hardest thing is taking off the shift knob, which requires a lot of twisting. Other than that, the outer ring pops off quite easily and then the actual shiftgate isnt too hard to take off either. you just need to un clip it on both sides. hope that helps!
