Service Manuel

I've searched with no luck.. Is their anyway to DL the Service Manuel? Its got to be online somewhere... If not, can any one scan and send me the trouble shooting section on ecu code P1456 Emissions Fuel system.. purge valve? My check engine light has been on for a few days now and I need to fix this problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.

As I am sure you have figured out it is (Leak Detected in EVAP Control System (Fuel tank System)). The test procedure is slightly different for auto and Manual trany. I hope its ok to do this. Than noisy little bastard! TIck! TICK! Tick! Tick! AHHHHH!

That should do it!

You are a life saver. The CEL came on, however I don't hear any ticking at all from under the hood??? Hopefully I can get it figured out this weekend.
A million thank you's!

As I said in your other post it's 99% likely a bad purge valve.

That’s a great idea but my first thought would be copy right infringement. I am prob guilty of it just for hosting those pics. Who knows. I wonder

I was hoping someone had already done that. I've gotten many FSM's that have been scanned and posted online.

Toyota has a mechanic resource that allows access to anyone for 10.00 per day.

I got my Land Cruiser's manual in pdf (in two days).

I printed it out, collated it and made a manual (took two weeks) and I have never used it. I print the single page(s) I need when I need to do a job, much better.

I don't suppose Acura does this?

The LC FSM including electrical & Service bulletins is over 2k pages, it was no fun printing it out scanning something like that would be a major pita.

I think you'd get a cease and desist letter from their lawyers

Just spend the $75 dollars and buy the helms... I bought one, and it was well worth the money...

Service Manuel would be the Mexican mechanic who works on your car using the Service Manual as a reference.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist.
