My car has 15400 miles on it and i took it to the dealer today to get the brakes and rotors fixed (vibration). Anyways i saw the maintence required light on and i knew i needed the 15000 mile service. Now what exactly is the point of this service every 7500 miles?? I was just curious, is it just another way for acura to make money over some BS?

I think the manual recommends changing the oil every 7500. I do the oil every 3750, rotate the tires every 7500, and tranny fluid every 15,000. I just reset the warning light whenever it blinks and otherwise ignore it.
