Serpentine Belt Removal-NEED HELP NOW-

The car is up on Jacks, I am ready to remove the crank pulley, but I can't find how to remove or loosen the larger belt- I see no adjustment for the spring tensioner- need some advise fast!!!! All you guys out there, please advise or send me a DIY link.

You need a 14 mm wrench to pull it back. You should see it, its the inside little wheel of the three.

I know I'm a little dense, but you mean I just pull it back/release the spring pressure? which bolt do I ull on, the center pivot?

yea, there is a bolt in the center, just push it backwards to release the tension on the belt.

Its not the easiest to see as it is in a tight spot, but its there.

tensioner pulley is the correct term..

Update:

The starter method almost worked; the socket split in half from the torque exerted, and since my wife wasn't home, I had to close everything up and wait until I could get an impact strength socket. I was using a 3/4" but I think 19mm is the correct metric. Will try again today or tomorrow.
