If it means anything, I had a guy tune my car with a dyne and everything was running like a champ. The problem occurs when the drive cycle is ending and the J32 ECU ends upo re-writing the tune. Thats the problem. Like the J32 ECU can't be unlocked and permanently adjusted.

Is your car an auto?

General update: Haven't had time to do any pulls been studying and have had a lot of hw and projects. Everything is calibrated just need to get some pulls in 4th while rolling on the throttle to get my main fuel map right.

The J&R ecu really isnt for the 2G CL/TL. The whole point of it is to keep the stock ECU in place so the canbus systems operate properly. The 2G CL/TL doesnt have canbus. It may work for you if you're an automatic, but its quite expensive for what it is.

Well we'll see what happens. . . I know a few people that can run Motec systems so if there is a problem with it I should be able to find a solution. If not oh well its a learning experience this is what I plan to do the rest of life so . . .

When you get it all running, can you post some details - instructions, screen shots on how you did it. Thanks!

Yeah it's on the car now just everything is set to 0 so I can post up to the point I'm at now. It will probably be another week or so before I'll have that kind of time though.
