Seats folding back

Recently, my seats have been acting strange. when you pull the lever to fold the seat back, it doesn't automatically move back. it seems as if you have to life the lever really hard, then it will automatically move up. has anyone had this kinda problem? it's really annoying.

I think the car has to be in park............my passager side seat acts up some time. It seems like you have to fold the seat with a little force to get it to work.

Never had a problem. Lift the lever, seat back goes forward and then the seat moves forward. If the seat back does not go forward then the seat will not move forward (maybe you have something in the seat preventing the back from moving forward?

about 1 out of 5 times, I think my seat has a mind of it's own, and decides not to fold.

Then again, its the times when a new person getting into my car has to learn the system.

But, its funny to see them marvel at it.

i think the passenger side door must be open for the passenger seat to automatically move

That is my impression of it
