If you do not wear it, why don't you?

 

Oh yeah - forgot to mention. I ALWAYS wear my seatbelt - I can't imagine being in a car without it.

 

Every time I'm in the front seat I wear it. Sometimes, when I'm in the back seat of someone else's car, I feel fine without one.

I put it on in the back seat of a cab once, though, and the cabby laughed at me. Good thing I was wearing it; she was driving that Crown Vic like a Viper.

 

I actually refuse to drive if any passengers in the car don’t have their belts on.

Not to pat myself on the back too much, but a few years after High School my constant nagging convinced two close friends to start wearing their belts.
Both were involved in separate front end collisions and only received minor injuries because they were belted in.

i feel like i am flopping around if i dont wear it. my g/f doesnt like to wear it, i yell at her every time.

 

I wear it as ofen but sometimes I dont wear it when im drivinh short distance!

 

seatbelts are a pain in the ass! the main reason i don't wear one is because it wrinkels the hell out of your shirt! after i spend 5-10 minutes ironing my clothes, ill be damned if i get in the car for 5 seconds and it looks like i took my shirt out of the wash machine and threw it on.

 

I went to traffic school Monday night for a speeding ticket and this was one of the main subjects. I've always worn my seatbelt when I drive or am a passenger. It just makes sense to wear one. The officer said "would you rather have a wrinkle in your shirt or one in your head?". Bottom line, it saves lifes.

 

i've heard that a million times. i just can't do it. i will put it on when i see a cop behind me. i ALWAYS make my brother wear one when he's with me. maybe it should become my new years resolution to wear my seatbelt. i didn't know so many people on these forums do wear it

 

In your case I agree. It sounds like your shirt is more important than your head? YMMV

 

whatever anyways, what is YMMV??? is it You Make Me Vommit? thats the only thing i can think of

At least you’ll look good on you ride to the hospital in the back of the Ambulance.

If you wear it all the time as a kid....as you get older, it becomes second nature.

 

 

exactly. I was always taight to wear it and now I dont even think about it. First thing I do when I get in the car is put it on.

 

couldnt agree with you more. feels wierd without it. my friend doesnt wear it and her face met my dashboard. funny as hell.
