Seat belts uncomfortable

I'm the proud new owner of a 2002 CL Type S. Great car! One little problem, tho. I'm a short little woman (5' tall) and the shoulder belt really cuts into my neck... after the 2 hour drive home from the dealer, my neck was killing me. I've got the seat up as high as it will go, but the shoulder belt still hits my neck. I am surprised that this car does not have a seat belt height adjustment, but that's a minor carp.

Does anyone have any advice for me? I searched these boards and found mention of Acura's shoulder pad -- what is it and do you think it will help?

Thanks for your help. This looks like a great forum.

Hey Sequin,

Welcome ... glad you found us. I'm 6'2" with the seat all the way down, so I don't have the same problem you do. You can get a pad, they aren't expensive at all. They are available in all kinds of color, so you can get one that makes you look like a race car driver, or not ...

Welcome!

As fbaz. said, you can get these seat belt pads that fasten around the belt w/ velcro. Your local import/speed shop should carry these pads.

Good luck!

buy the shoulder pad from autodynamic.com for 9.99 a pair...
