Searched with no answer on Rims/Offset

i'm about to purchase the ADR GT-Sport 18x7.5 +45 or +42 offset with 225/40/18 ALONG with Comptech springs!!

is my offset going to work with NO rubbing?

can somebody help with the NO RUBBING offsets AFTER lowering and on 18's ?!?

thanks

or if somebody can AIM me too, that would be helpful.

42 offset may be too low. With 45 and 225 you should be ok. The fact that you're getting 18's wouldnt matter in the rubbing issue but the 225 tires vs say 235. Most people only have concerns with 235 width. Don't quote me on this but hardly anyone has rubbing with 225.

EricL has always been helpful with my tire questions, so you may want to wait for what he has to post. He's always got correct info and good advice.

There are members on this board running 45 offset I believe. If you type in words like offset, 225, 235, rubbing, you'll defintely find your answers before anyone posts cuz i remember reading them when I was looking to get 19's. Hope this helps.
