long story short. while attempting to remove snow and ice off my exgirlfriends 4runner, i scarted the windshiel. this happened a few months ago. i said i would pay for the repair. there are about 6 light scraches 4-5 inches each. can they be buffed out or will the whole windshield have to be replace??

 

Man I told you taking that ring back would come back to kick you in the ass..... This is just the beginning too....

They can fix nix/chips in windshields but what did you scrape it with that would gouge the glass?

IF the scratches are not too bad, they can be "removed."

If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail, it's probably too deep to fix.

The Eastman Company makes a polishing kit for windshields (auto glass).

shit i dont even remember, i think it was one of those toy plastic shovels. cant tell ya how shitty these last 5 weeks have been though. especially since i see her at work everyday. friday is her last day though. i do have one question though. her birthday is next friday and i know i shouldnt get her a gift, but what about a card? would that be a wise thing to do?
