Scratched my leather!!

So I had my car for less than a week, and already I've scratched my leather on the passenger side while I was moving. My question is how do I fix it? Does the liquid leather stuff work? Luckily it didn't rip through the leather, and it not noticeable unless you're looking for it. But you can certainly feel it. It's 4 scatch marks about 3 inches long and half an inch wide. Thanks for any help.

Well, you have three options. You can reupholster the entire seat, but that would make little sense. You could also use the liquid leather, but that would probably be mor noticeable than what you have right now, which bring us to choice 3 grin and bear it. Thats what I would do.

Go back to the dealer and tell them it was there. They have specialists that will fix it perfectly. I actually had a scratch that was in the leather and my dealer had a guy come in and fix it. It's PERFECT. I know it's a bit dishonest...but it will cost the dealer like 20 bucks...and we all know the dealer made more than that on the car you bought from them...so F it.

Yeah that's your best bet. Hey why not let them fix it...It will only cost them 20$.... But if you were to bring it in and say u did it they would probably charge you 50-100$$ That my friend is wrong.. Take it back and say it was already there.

I'm sure that's what the dealer was thinking when they raped us on the price for our CL's....

Compromise here.

Go the dealer but just ask them for the name of the guy they use...

Besides, if you are honest and be nice to them, they may just do it for free under warranty..

I didn't get raped on my car. If you think you did, then you have a personel problem.

The operative word here is "think". Sure you don't "think" you got raped, but dealers don't sell cars for free. I am a loyal Acura buyer and I've purchased 4 from my current dealer. As much as I like their Salespeople and their Service Dept., they still are making LOTS of money off of us. I don't think having the dealer do you a 20 dollar favor is a big deal.
