Hi guys, I got a scratch on my rear driver side fender. This dude was backing up and for some reason he didn't see my car and side swiped the fender and a little piece of the bumper. Damage is right over the wheel. Never had any bodywork done, car was all original. Do you guys think this will be fixed and not noticable? Any opinions for me, I'm in Toronto/Mississauga Ontario. Any suggestions on where to go or what to tell these people when I go in for an estimate? Will they have to paint the whole quarter panel? THANKS FOR YOUR INPUTS!!!

 

If the scratch isn't too deep, it might be able to be buffed out. Though, if bare metal can be seen, there will have to be some body work done. Make his insurance pay for it!

 

sorry to hear that man, same shit happened to me while i was entering a parkway on the ramp, i enter and hit traffic im halfway in and this old asshole in a mini van was probably singing showtune songs with his hick family and slowly rolled into my fender, cop wrote down it was my fault and my insurance company couldnt find out who hit me, so i hope you have better luck. shouldnt be a lot maybe it can be buffed out for a few bucks or spot paint job for 50-100
