ScanGauge II
I have mine mounted on the top of my steering column, in front of the MPH dial, held with some stratigically placed black velcro. The cord is tucked behind the right side lower plastic panel and run up proximate to the steering column behind said panel. You can't really see the cord until it emerges from the panel at the ScanGauge. It's right in my line of sight during my commutes, so as to minimize taking my eyes off the road.
it works for me.
In the summer of 08 when gas prices jumped beyond $4 a gallon, I invested in one of these and they are GREAT. I mainly use it for MPG calculations and also use it to monitor coolant and intake air temps. Especially, during stop-and-go traffic with the A/C on.
Consistently, with the Mugen cooling mods, one can see/feel, at least on my car, when the radiator fan switches on at 188F. It drops like a rock to about 170F within about 10 to 15 seconds. It helps me gauge how things are going, in that regard, under the hood. IIRC, when I bought mine, Amazon had the best price in 08; however, that may have changed.
