Good thinking. Ebay is such a good thing, but people like that should just be shot on site for scamming people out of their money. I have bought countless things on Ebay and thankfully never had to deal with something like this, but I hope you dont just let this go. Im sure you didnt just have 1300 bucks laying around to waste. Find him, sue him, whatever.

I think we need more info before we pass judgment on this one.

It looks like the person who started this thread did the sale off of EBAY for one reason or another.
If that’s true, EBAY has no record of the transaction and can therefore do nothing to help.

Not that they help, anyway, even if the transaction were done through them.

jezuz; what a scam

I hope u used credit card/paypal; you need to dispute it right away.

how come you trusted a zero-feeback seller, and with $1,400.

And i agree, those scammers should be sent to jail.

I would be skeptical from the beginning because of the grammer....that to me is a clear warning sign it's not a professional/competant buyer source for such an advanced performance part.
Just my $0.02

I would seriously go to that guys house and kick his ass......def. do not give up on this you should prosecute and get your money back. They usually have a nice place in prison for people like that.

eBay does offer a Buyer protection program for Buyers who have paid for an item and have not received them. http://pages.ebay.com/help/confidenc...rotection.html

However, if the transaction occured off of eBay, that is you did not complete the transaction via eBay and instead made an arangement to send him money to end the auction early or to circumvent the fees, you are not covered under the protection policy.

If you are so inclined to report the user's fake listing you can also do it here. http://pages.ebay.com/help/contact_inline/index.html

ebay does offer protection but it doesn't help i went thru that and all the rest of the steps, which u should do then go to www.ic3.gov and file a complaint. this is a branch of FBI and this falls under a federal felony (what i was told by local officer) so this guy could get into some deep $hit.

no offense buddy, and i feel bad for you....but to send 1300 or whatever to a guy that has no feedback on ebay....all u had was a cell phone number ( that was probably bought as a pay as you go phone in 7/11)

Was kinda silly.......how and where did you send the money ( do you have an address ? ), i hope you used a CC or paypal....i hope you did not send him cash......

In this day an age, people will take you to the cleaners and leave you with nothing.

I MIGHT be able to help you, but it all depends on what you have on this guy.

That's the same exact broken english as the guy scamming with a twin turbo kit for an "accord v6 1996-2004" in the other thread.

Wow this guy is a real jerk off!!! I hope someone does something to lock this guy up.

JDMj20acL,

I got your PM, Find out what WU he picked up the money, The address you gave me is a real residential address.

The area code is not the Keys, but down south past Miami around the Kendall Area.

I feeling is that this is where the guy lives, why i think that, Is i have send alot of WUs here in S Florida, inorder to pick up the money he send you,

He had to of show his drivers lic, for ID, they would of wrote down his drivers lic number, and kept a copy at the place where he picked up the money.

We can do this 2 ways......

Pay him a visit and see what happens, and if he lives there.

Or i can get the feds involved, only thing is it will be a longer process.

I'd rather pay him a visit with a couple of guy from ACL, but for my own safey i'm not going to do it alone, more people the merrier.

Let me know if any one is interested.......I'd love to meet the fucker get him arrested ....

EBay have his inof but his info can easily be faked there for there is no way you can take him to court because you dont know who did it.

How did you pay for the item. There is a safety unless you wire him the money. If you wire the money to him then you are PRETTY MUCH ASSED OUT. Doesnt matter if you take this guy off or not. YOur main concern is to get you $$$$ back.
