you take the plugs out and crank the motor over to get the fluid out. You can also try and take compressod air and blast a little out. But damage may be done if there is coolant in there.

damn you are having no luck w/ this sc from the get go. Hopefully you dont need a new engine. But if you do may good idea to invest in a 3.5 block....prolly same cost as 3.2 block.

You can bend a rod and it won't snap immediatly. Happened in my friends Jeep. He sucked up water, and tried to get it out right away, but he knew the rod bent. It took a few weeks before it let go and punched a hole in the block.

rod is tomorrows thread... PART 3

S/C'er HELP! Part 3 rods bent by Hurleysurf24

I had to do...

part the car out.. close the garge door and do not enter it ever again... go buy a used neon and do not touch it...

thats my recommendation...

In all honesty I can not give you help OR anyone who explains that there car goes "put put put"... go find a mechanic that knows what he is doing... you're lost... just take that simple advice and have the car towed somewhere other than your garage.

The funniest thing ever is to listen to people try and describe noises their car is making to the mechanic. They sound like such idiots sometimes

Since I can't post in your Black Market thread due to the rules...

Okay this is bullshit. You are gonna rip off a fellow AZ member.

First: You state brand new spark plugs... okay a) they aren't brand new because you installed them and b) how can you expect someone to install spark plugs that were in a motor you flooded with engine coolant? I wouldn't want those plugs in my car.
Second: The gauges you are including are POS. Now that is fine, but you need to tell the buyer that they read in kg/cm3 or whatever you bought and once you do the conversion the fuel pressure gauge only maxes out around 92psi; not high enough for what is needed. 100psi is where you should be.
Third: The fuel pump is not brand new, you installed it, and I paid for it for you ($140).
Fourth: You are now the 3rd person to install this blower and yet you are trying to sell it for $2600?! You only paid $2275 shipped! Trying to turn a quick $400 profit because you probably fucked the kit up in the process of installing it and fucking up your engine.

After reading the thread I must say it was interesting...

Bro did ever due an install of that nature on any nature on when it comes to performance installs... Sometimes it just better to pay someone else who knows.. Rather than killing ur motor.

So I guess the engine is history eh.... As steve said, you should amend your post and reference what is the actual fact of the items who have are selling, rather than try to make a quick buck. In reference to your asking price, its your item, but like I said inform the buyer of whats the actual conditions of the items for sale.

a buyer is a buyer. Steve was forthcoming with his setup and cannot feel remorse, (which i'm sure he's not).

barf-n-surf got a terrific deal and got a new fuel pump on top of it. Who can figure what hurley is doing, take a look at the ported manifold escapade. Claims the gains were there, then puts it on the black market, parting out everything, then buys the SC, then parts out everything again. very strange, but to each his own. Steve did well and was honest in his transaction.

HS, you're a fucking crook. Don't go posting that there is nothing wrong with the kit. How do you know? You didn't even know how to install it. You potentially fucked up your motor, what might be wrong with the S/C?

And to top it all off, you're trying to make money on the deal. Go sell it on the "other" Acura forums. Let one of those shlubs buy it off you. Oh and make sure they're local so they can beat you within an inch of your life when they find out the kit is fucked.

This thread was really entertaining. It's going to be really interesting to see if that SC will still work. I should have bought it when I had a chance.

Started the car and it idled a bit rough tand blew a little coolant out and nothing else. I turned the car on and off again and the car started right up

What are you talking about, I mean regardless its your decision, but the TL/CL S/C running around are generally very reliable, needing little maitanence....it seems the only unreliabilty is on your installation skills...what the others have said, take it to someone who knows what their doing and enjoy. It is going to save you the hassle of trying to sell a car that has been moded, and has a very low resale value.
