At the Carlisle car show, a vendor had a set of NEX Coilovers on hand. I was taking a look at them and I noticed the welds were somewhat sloppy and didn't look very strong. I snagged a picture of them in the display, but unfortunately you can't really see the welds.

Was wondering, for those who have the NEX coilovers if you've noticed the same. I want to Autocross this summer, so strength is a must. Unfortunately, money is AN issue, so TEIN's will be tough to come by.

Those are only height adjustable and there is about $250 difference.

Kai, my nex coilovers used the stock U bracket, it didn't have its own, so that wouldn't be an issue with our set of nex coilovers. So far so good with the nex coilovers, I haven't had any issues or problems, neither does Jrock. Overall very happy with our coilovers.
