Was just driving back to work from seeing a friend at lunch, I was turning off of Wilshire Blvd and this huge matte black test car comes barreling from behind me. I catch it in my mirror and it was that new 300 (M?) This thing is a huge boat and the grille is ridiculously large. And yet I caught myself staring at it and thinking it wasnt half bad. Will have to see a final production version.

I checked the spec on the current 300 (M, ML, or whatever it is) and the numbers come out pretty close to CLS territory. IIRC it 3600 lbs w/ 255hp. No manual tranny tho'.

It's still a chrysler, but it'll be interesting to see what they'll come up w/ for the redesign.

From a former 2000 300M owner, it's power numbers are good, but the drivtrain loss, & the gearing makes the car very slow. The new one I have seen as well, & it's a nice car, with good numbers, & RWD & most of it is made by MB. Cost becomes the factor if it sells well.
