S60R/V70R promotional video for your Volvo heads

Since I don't think you guys know about this yet...

http://www.blackangel-software.com/V...and_V70R_1.wmv

It's basically the video they show you at the dealer if you go talk to them about ordering one.

It's even got Tiff Needell in it! =)

That car is awesome!!! I think it has HUGE capabilities...similar to an S4...think about it....it's turbocharged...all wheel drive...variable supension...amazing performance...handling...ALL YOU COULD WANT!!! I think they look nicer than most cars out...the only turn off is the price. A little pricey with a starting price of nearly $37k...if it weren't for that small flaw I would consider it for my next car...which will hopefully be coming around soon. I had a Volvo 850 T-5 R station wagon before my CL, and I loved it!! I got shit for having a station wagon, but I thought it was awesome...tinted windows...color matched mouldings....magna flow exhaust...custom carbon fiber Blitz intake...Alpine stereo system...clear corners...rear wing...changed out all the lights...It was sweet! So I could imagine what the new ones would be like!!! All you would have to do is toss an IPD chip, exhaust and intake on it, and it will be competition for the best of them...Nice work on Volvo's part all together. Just my 2 pennies.

sounds like it should be an impressive automobile...5 cylinder, interesting. the volvos that my freinds or family had always suffered from build quality/reliability problems, hopefully this car is solid. seems a bit high in the price department though, Volvo is pushing it with the price. i bet anything that the chick who narrates the first part of that video has no clue what the fuck shes actually talking about...shes just reading from a cue card...hehehe...good stuff though, very nice car, wouldnt pay 45k for it (which is what it will end up with all the options or more)

Fully loaded the car is around $45, 200 before tax....if you skip the untreated leather (which I'm doing), you're around $43,700.

The car is not that expensive, it bases at slightly under $37k.

I like original exclusive cars, an M3 just isn't doing it for me anymore.

Why would the chick need to know what she's talking about, that part is to discuss the features of the S60R a bit........you don't need an expert to cover that area.

You think those women at the autoshows have a clue? They don't even work for the car companies.

Also, not to mention, Volvo is only importing 2000-2500 S60Rs for 04......so it doesn't matter what people think of it, every last one will be sold before they get here.

For some reason I can't get it to play; it says that it can't download an appropriate decompressor

I don't think they are pushing the price much.

In my opinion it's an S4 competitor to the hilt with volvo safety and a good reliablity history if you follow the S60 which it is built off of. Go look at the S60 consumer reports it has has a better than average rating. The fact that is has a 3 setting suspension, Brembos, 300HP, awd, a ton of features, not options I think you get what you paid for, hell I expected this car to be 45K but I believe mine, configured as is, is 41K. When I test drive it next month I'll really know if I'm gonna spend my clams on it, my guess is, yes.

Here is a V70R vid, mind you......its heavier, slower, and bigger than the S60R and still looks to be a great performing car.

Its not in English, but its a great, clear Vid.

Plus it shows off the elusive blue interior, it matches the gauges and stitching very well. Don't mind the Mach Turbo Ad.

Honestly, Volvo doesn't do much marketing here in the states at all...this S60R is a luxury sleeper for sure.

I'm surprised that jimcol711 has an issue with the price of something. Never seen that happen before.

This car is a STEAL at 42k. Speed, style, safetly, luxury, value all in one car. How much would pay for it?
