So i'm on my way home from Pennsylvania yesterday i was at importwar and me and my friend are just cruisin on I-78 when i see a blue S4 with a grill pull up and i said god damn it now i have to race cuz he's gonna play, so we raced from about 70-120 and believe it or not i actually stuck with it, maybe it was cuz we were going down hill but i did, then we weaved in and out of traffic at about 90 until i finally passed then i slowed back down to 70 again. I dont know if that counts as a kill but it was still fun and 120 is the fastest i brought this car up to(only has 3500 miles).

 

I can't really tell from you post but did he pull on you at all? IMO a S4 and a 6sp CL-S would be a close race from a roll.

Great race! S4s run very low 14s maybe even a high 13 stock. With your mods you should be able to take him from a stop with a good launch. AWD eats up a lot of his power.

Now I believe the CL-S could pull on a S4 on a roll, but from a stop, I really don't believe it could. Just the launch itself would give an S4 a big lead. The CL-S would probably gain some ground however once moving. From a roll, pretty even cars, from a stop, the S4 has an advantage.

 

i agree, its the damn AWD, if i got a nice set of nitto 555R drag radials then that'd be a different story, but he can drop his shit from 5grand and take off i gotta take off from 1500 and i still spin
