Rust spots in paint
Rust spots in paint
I am planning on re-claying my car and starting the Zaino process over again because I am starting to get little black dots with rust around the edges. It is hard to see in the pictures, but when you look close in person it is easy to see that it is rust. Does anyone else have this problem and will re-claying solve the problem.

If the page says unauthorized to view page, just click refresh and it should work. Works for me that way. rust02.jpg is hard to see what I am talking about without seeing in person.

It is normal oxidation process, but if you clay and use a wax cleaner it will normally go away. U should follow up a good sealent and waxing procedure to retard the process again.
By the way, I notice that you live in FL and being near to the coast like Tampa will promote that yellow/dark/rust color spotting. You ever considered having the car serviced by Ziebart. They do pretty good work and warranty the work for about four years. BTW I went to school at USF, Tampa and Florida Southern College in Lakeland. Way to go Bucs!

Never looked into Ziebart. I detail my cars myself and use Zaino. I think it is a great product and really gets the car shining well.
