Me and my brother were cruising towards taco bell the other night and we noticed a couple of guys running light to light in front of us, one was a blue RSX Type-S with black housings, exhaust and intake (damn those things are as loud as the CL with the intake...) and a JDM ITR kit on it...looked real nice. Also, there was a light blue color CRX Si (2nd gen) which we later saw to have a B16A1 swap and some bolt ons...

Anyways...im just cruising along and we come to a light with 3 lanes i figure i can see if im any challange to either of the cars...i pull up and they are ricer reving at each other laughing and carrying on, and im just sitting there and my brother is like "Watch the light..." goes green...i floor it and break traction just slightly, CRX pulls on us both at first but then we reel him in and pass him and its me and the RSX, im in 3rd by now, he shifts into i guess third as we were door and door, i run 3rd gear up to red line and edge him out slightly and he lets off as we come to a light...

We pull over in the taco bell parking lot, real nice guys, CRX guy said he misshifted (excuse im sure but i figured he'd be faster than he was) and the RSX guy was just going on and on about how he wanted a CL and he wish he could have got one and blah blah blah...all the while im admiring his car as it was SUPER clean and ive always liked the RSX, and with the JDM kit on it, damn it was nice...he said he didnt realize the CL's were just as fast as the RSX's are, i told him they were both magazine rated about low 15's stock 1/4...he was impressed and we went on our way.

Pretty fun race, but my gas gauge didnt like it...lol.

Yup...except for some BBS wheels and wider tires...i get a good amount of traction from what ive found over the stock wheel/tire combo when launching hard...minimal spin.

all that RSX-S needs is a hondata "chip" and its over for you!

Where are you located?? Your location says Towne Lake, GA but I am not aware of any town in Georgia named that. I do know of a region in Woodstock, GA which is referred to as Towne Lake. I should know as I live in TLHE.

If so, were you on Hwy 92?? That is a haven for Woodstock police anymore; keep an eye out.

Anyway, I can't say I've seen your car around. I seem to be the only CL-S ('03 CL-S6SC actually) around the Towne Lake area. There is one CL-P I have seen semi-frequently. I have seen a couple other CL-S's on Towne Lake Parkway but not enough that I would say they are local.

On another note, I never have anyone try to run me anymore.

Good kill! I'm guessing your CL-S is auto or you'd have beat him worse. I wonder if I could take a CL-S auto?? (98 with h22 e/i)

Are you saying that the CL is just as loud with only an intake as that RSX was with BOTH intake and exhaust? That seems kinda weird... unless you have a 3.x CL inwhich case I would understand.
