Rough Idle
Right after I got my car back after the new tranny was put in, I felt as though the car was idling a bit rough. There us no change in RPMs, but I can feel the engine. I tried in neutral and drive and A/C off or on and I can still feel the engine working. Anyone else have this problem?
I'm getting my 15k service done tomorrow and I'm gonna go sit in a new CL-S and see if it is just me or is there a change in the idle feeling.

it could be that they damaged one of more of the hydraulic motor mounts while changing trannies?

Well I just got back from the dealer and hey claimed that they couldn't find anything wrong. I sat in a new CL-S and it seemed to be a little smoother, but the difference was slight. Even the service manager said it seemed a little rougher than usual but ever so slightly. Of course, they didn't find anything wrong.

I'm with Astroboy on this one. Double check the motor mounts. Are they reinstalled correctly, ie. torqued down! Start engine, rev engine to see if any movement! Goodluck!
