The rotors don't have a break-in period. It's the new pads need to be broken in. Take it easy for the first 200 miles.

The standard break-in for rotors is 10 days or 10 feet, whichever comes first.

There is none. Feel free to lock 'em up as needed.

For those of you who got your rotors replaced recently, how many miles did you have on your car?

The reason I ask is because I took my car in the other day to be covered under the TSB. At first the service mgr said since my pads were worn down below 50%, that it was not covered per the TSB. So we look at the TSB and, big shocker, there is nothing that says 50% or how much the pad is worn at all. Then he says it is in the owner's manual, but yet again, it doesn't exist. The guy was being a jerk bottom line.

Thanks.

How well are the new rotors holding up? I heard the dealer is replacing rotors and upgrading the brake pads. Is the problem solved or what? I'm seriously considering a big brake kit from brembo or Rotora at this point.

My car has 39k miles on it. I was worried about that also, but they said nothing of it. Juker008 had a similar problem, as I think other have too, and I askled him about it, I'll PM ya what he sent to me.
