rotors 33k NJ area

Was in at ocean acura for my 30k service (31,200 a bit late) and they stated that the front brakes have a slight pulsation (which they do) they say pad wear has greater than 25% left on them, and that the rotors are slightly warped. They recommended replacing the brakes and resurfacing the rotors.
at 22,500 i had an oil change and the dealer remarked that i had 6/32 on the front pads left. I had the car serviced at 22,500 at a dealership in california, before driving the car out to new jersey.

my questions are:1. how thick are the pads to begin with? (because 6/32 seems like a lot to me, and now ocean says i only have 1/4 of a pad left after 9k, 4of which were cross country?)
2.second, it seems that everyone is talking about the rotor warp problem on here (which is what i would assume i would have) i hear stories of the rotors and pads being replaced/resurfaced for free up to 50k?
3.I was wondering if anyone had this done in the NJ area? (everyone talks about park ave. here, i am about 1:15 from them)
4.If i do need to replace my pads and rotors any suggestions on brands, with a budget in mind?

thanks,
Craig.

Warped rotors are covered under TSB 01-017: which replaces the pads and resurfaces the rotors (and in some cases replaces the rotors). The problem is caused by the pads they originally put on our cars.

I had mine done by Acura of Ocean, they didn't honor the TSB, and after the resurface and new pads I bought, the Rotors are warped already.

I'll just have to do this again ... But I figure its just normal maint.
