Rotoras with EBC vs. Axxis

Question: which setup would be better, Rotora rotors with EBC Greenstuff brake pads or Rotora rotors with Axxis ultimate brake pads. I read a few posts regarding Axxis and everyone complains about brake dust. So is the EBC better then? Thanks

I have the ROTORA slotted discs and Axxis Ultimate pads and there is brake dust but the bite of the pad on the rotor is great once it gets warmed up. I have heard, but I cannot say out of experience, that the EBC doesn't bite as well but will shed less dust.

I think it's kind of a risk-return relationship. You can't get a good bite without a lot of brake dust and vice versa.

I have the ebc greenstuff pads with EBC slotted and dimpled rotors and I love them. There is deffinitly good bite, but since never experencing axxis I can't say that it is less or more. Brake dust though is deffinitly half of what it was when it was stock plus the dust is alot lighter in color so when it's on there you still don't notice it. For me the dust factor was a big issue. Stock I would have to wipe my rims almost every other day. Now with the same spirited driving I wipe once a week.

I have Rotoras w/ Axxis Metal Masters. Lotta brake dust. I looked at them today. There pretty dirty. I've had them the setup since the Oct 24 when I replaced the stock front rotors and pads. I had quite a bit of grinding a couple weeks ago, but it's calmed down alot since then. About a week and a half ago, I would also say that I a lil bit of uneven biting on the left rotor. That went away, too.

Overall, I'm very very satisfied.

Where's the cheapest palce I can get Rotora rotors for? Preferabally Slotted and X-drilled.
What do yall think? If I had to choose one or the other should I go w/ slotted or x-drilled. Mainly daily driven, mod to hard braking.

Slotted only. Cross-drilled are a waste for a daily driver. More prone to cracking.

I just got the rotora slotted and akebono pads. they are ceramic but supposed to have less dust than the axxis. and the ebc's seemed to be pretty weak at braking.

i dont have the rotora but i have zinc plated cross drilled and sloted rotors with the green stuff pads and there is still a good amount of brake dust that comes off of them just so you know. look into the ebc blue stuff pads...
