Rotora BBK Installed *Pics*

Finally had the Rotora BBK and rear pads/combo rotors installed on Thursday after getting my H&R 5mm wheel spacers.

Braking is obviously greatly improved but I agree with those who say these pads leave a lot more brake dust. They definitely do.

Also the shop painted the rear calipers red to match up with the front. Overall it came out great and I’m very pleased with the whole setup. Doesn't look bad behind the stock rims either.

Here's some pics:

Had to sneak the S/C in there some how

Hey! Congrats! Now all we need is for AllOut to post some pictures of his and we have a trio of BBK kits installed in one week. If you haven't heard, they are coming out with the rear BBK in Jan 05.

The stopping power is incredible! 80-0 is effortless!

Thanks fellas appreciate the compliments. This is gonna be the last big mod done to this car.

Well its not like you tap on the pedal and your head goes through the windshield. Basically over stock though there is a huge difference though.

The stopping power is just so smooth and linear now. Its obvious all the time that when i brake that it takes so little effort to come to a stop. Also you can tell how quickly you slow down over stock. Definitely a great mod for the car.

NiteQwill I saw in your thread the post about the rear BBK. Maybe there's still one mod left to be done.

Rez I'll be there this weekend.

... glad to see you ran the rotors the same way I did.

I bet, it makes you alittle that those rims are so close to those brake calipers...
but you will be fine... just be careful when you mount and unmount them..

Chap, you need to get new tires. I just got rotora rotora and 235-45 ES 100's and the diff is amazing. With your setup, you'd realize the full potential of your brakes.

Keith, glad to see you got them on there. Let me know when you're ready for the rear BBK even though you said that was the last mod. BTW, we have to meet up at some point. I'm only in CT and I will be having a few car shows next spring and summer here at my shop. Besides my CL I have a turbo Honda and we built a customer's TL with a lot of the same mods as you, minus the S/C.

Yeah i know all to well that the stockers do suck. With winter here i'll wait on getting new rubber but come the spring i definitely plan on upgrading.

Looks good AllOut, very very nice. Seeing the rear calipers.... I just received my G2 caliper paint today, they're getting painted on Friday to look more even, I can't stand that uneven look for some reason.

For everyone's car.....

I know for sure the BBK does not affect ABS functionality. I don't think it will affect VSA either.

With those nice wheels, you can definitely see more of the rotors. I'm on the fence about painting my rear calipers. Part of me wants to not draw attention to the stock calipers.

We'll have to do the three pictures with SC's next.

Allout that came out great man. Looks real nice.

The shot of the rotors actually looks better on a SSM. Matches perfectly.

Thanks Chap.

I don't know though. When I see all three pictures together, I don't know which one I like better. They all look hot - I like them all

Sorry, - I meant caliper - not rotor.

Caught an edge of a rim spoke on the corner of the caliper and chipped off the powder coat. It's not bad but it's there.

I think I'm going to jam a rag in between the caliper and rim when I remove them to act as a cushion in the future.
