To Roll or Shave? That...is the question!
Just put some 18's with a +45mm offset and lowered it 2". Got a *little* rub-age going on in the rear...(that didn't come out right!
)
I've read a lot and talked to a lot of peeps as to which way to go: shave or roll.
Shave: pretty EZ DIY but if you cut the tack welds you'll seperate the inner and outer fenders. But is that an EZ fix with lo pro sheet metal screws or some kind of body panel adhesive? Liquid metal?!
Roll: Can rent a tool for $30 or have it done ($20-$35 per wheel well) But it can crack the paint... Fix=$$$ How likely is this?
Thoughts? Experineces? Thanks
PS: shoulda went with +48 offset!

i rolled the fenders with a piece of wood from home depot. its really easy and this was my first car to do it on. just google "rolling fenders" for a DIY. you might be rubbing on the bumper tab that has a screw for the bumper. that is a PITA. you have to move the screw and shave that mounting point.
