Roadlamp Question

I have a 2001 Acura CL. I'm thinking of buying a HID Conversion Kit for the roadlamps. I've read on threads about how the HID would melt the housing, so my first question is...

What kind of housing do I need so HID will not melt it?

I called the Acura Dealership and they said they only have plastic lenses, and not glass.

And has anyone tried this mod? Just buy a HID Kit and put it in, or will I need to modify more to make it work?

Its not possible as there is no bulb with that kind of socket.

On the other hand if you want to retrofit the TL fogs into the bumper, you will be able to make it work.

Will I be able to put a 8000K bulb in the TL Fogs like I have in my headlights?

And where and how much can I get TL Fogs?

You can try retrofitting a decent lens in the old one's place... As far as the TL's roadlamp goes... its pretty much the same thing as the C..., I mean you can if you want to but it'll turn the foil in the housings into goo...

Haven't we been over this already? lol
