I don't like it. It looks like a hybrid of a 911 body and a TT.

I don't see how that's such a bad thing.

Be patient guys. You may not even be able to get one the first year because so many people have already ordered.

Also, did you not learn your lessons about buying a new car the first year it comes out?

PDG all the way, with orange leather, or maybe black leather.

That blue is sorta tempting but is not available with the orange leather.

350 z dealers

a call to one dealer today yielded a 500 dollar dealer add on. You may not be able to get one for less than 30,000.00. Anyone hear something similar.

$5000 add on?? my dad ordered one and the dealer told him it'll be at least MSPR, maybe a little over MSRP, not $5000 over. But then again, havent talked to my dad since then so i dunno.

I love the new Z from what I've seen. 280+HP in addition to a 6-speed sounds awesome. I agree w/the statement that this car is a cross between a 911 & an Audi TT; that's another reason why I love it.

The Z brings back College memories for me in the late 70's. One of my best friends had an Orange 1970 240Z w/a 4-speed. I got to drive it a lot cause I was the only one other than him in our circle that could drive a stick. That car was a blast to drive & toss around.

This is the 1st Z iteration since then that brings back the heritage in my view of the original 240Z taht I love. I was torn between an A4 or the new 6-speed CL-S, but this new Z adds another variable for me to consider.

Decisions.. decisions.... Help!!!

bullshit. anyone who pays over MSRP for this vehicle is a tool.

this isnt a limited run vehicle... not only that... but nissan is better then any car company i have ever seen at getting cars to dealers quickly.

when the new altima came out, i dealers round here were renting nearby parking lots to dump all the cars they got on them.

this car will be easy to comeby... at the very least youll have to wait a couple months.

the BASE Z will prolly be harder to get then any other... cuz theres gonna be tons of people buying that. 26k hits a large market.

i bet it will be easy to get dibs on a fuly equipped touring model.

price gouging

This was just one particular dealer. I agree with not paying more. The same thing happened at some dealers with the miata when it came out, as well as mr2, pt cruiser, Audi TT etc. I wouldn't pay over msrp, but there is a lot of money in South FLorida, and some fool will always pay it. Reputable dealers probably won''t gouge.

Finding a reputable dealer in South Florida is a mission. Have any recommendations on a Nissan dealership down here?

If you get that pdg, Soopa, you'll have to get a custom plate something like PUNKIN or PUMPKIN.
