that's crazy. That video could probably used to try that Jeep guy for attempted murder.
I was at a party once and saw a similar scene except a guy did get run over (on his legs) and dragged a bit under the door of a car. Idiotic...

Many states have vehicle specific homicide statues (like vehicular homicide) that will attempt to cover such an incident outside the normal homicide statues. While they don't perclude traditional murder charges, I can't see where even attempted murder is applicable here. Perhaps some type of assault charges or attempted voluntary vehicular manslaugher...but to me his actions don't sum up to attempted murder. If they did, then that would mean the victim [on foot] would have been justified to draw a weapon and fire thru the windshield at the driver. Hardly self-defense when he escalated the situation on several ocassions.
This is a plain street fight associated with road rage. The guy behind the wheel should be charged with reckless driving, a plethora of traffic violations, street fighting (simple assault), destruction of city property, willful misconduct, and maybe assault with a deadly weapon so that he can plea out and get some major probation time. The guy on foot gets a disorderly conduct, inciting violence, street fighting (simple assault), terrorist threats, and maybe some property destruction.
Neither will end up in prison.
