I'm just waitin on someone to part out their whole setup, that's overpriced for just the calipers IMO. Still need the bracket, rotors, pads, ss brake lines, etc. on top of that. Hits a G easy when factoring shipping to Canada
buy them, then part your car out and i'll buy them off you, lol.

^^^lmao
Be watchful of both rebuilt and remanufactured calipers though. Kind of like buying rebuilt engine that possesses cheap Chinese parts and last only a few thousand miles. I actually ordered a set of RL calipers from my local auto parts store for $97 each. I opened the box, inspected the calipers, then reboxed them and sent them back for a credit...trash!

I noticed you had a local machine shop machine the RL brackets you listed. I have a very good friend of mine that's been literally machining from scratch a lot of my 3.5 build parts and even a few other misc items on my car. He asked me the other day of anybody I know would be interested in building something they might need. This gave me the idea of having duplicating some of the performance parts that are offered to us but gouge us on the price on retail purchases. He's made things like a duplicate alternator pulley from the under drive pulley kit from UR, a customized nitrous shut off valve, he offered to machine 4340 forged rods (but ended up finding them CHEAP), misc exhaust system parts, customized intake manifold, and many other things he offered to make but we never followed through. In terms of the community here, I think it would be smart to entertain doing something like this but in a "group buy" type of arrangement. Mostly so that he could do batches rather than individual part builds. The best parts about all this is that the guy has many years of machine work (including CNC) and is very reasonably priced. I'm not advertising his services yet rather trying to assist others and offer them alternatives in saving money whilst still receiving quality parts.
If anybody holds interest, please PM me. I'd be more than happy to link others up with this precious resource that I've used many times before. FYI: Plano, Tx is the location of his shop. ;-)
