Just filled out a report on the dealership I bought me CLS6 from. Placed screwed me over and I want it out there that the dealership sucks. anyone know about this website before I send in the report? I dont want any kind of retaliation from the place I bought it from.

Bought my car the day after thanksgiving last year from a dealership in boston. I t was listed on autotrader. drove up there with a trailer to tow home sight unseen. lcd screen on the radio was broken and needed codes. Dealer said they would replace the radio with a brand new one.

also the pass side fog light delete was missing. said they would order a new one. 4 weeks later they sent me a used radio with cds jammed in it. they did sent a brand new delete for the fog light.

called them up and said they sent me a broken head unit. they told me to either send it back and get a new one or have it fixed here at their cost. called acura they sent me to their repair shop and it would cost about 250 and no guaranty that they could even fix it.

so i called the dealership and they said to send it back and they would find me another one. I said why dont you just send me the money for a new one and ill put a comparable after-market in myself. said they would only give me $500. B.S.

sent it back. said they would refund shipping( took 3 months for a $17.89 check that only got sent b/c my lawyer uncle sent a threat letter). after waiting another 2 months they found another head unit at a local junkyard that i could pick up.

picked it up and same thing, jammed cds( michael bolton and rod stewart). finally said screw it and got the idea to take the face plate off and see it my original unit worked. it did after getting the codes. Dealership doesnt know that.

Either way, a lotta b.s. dealing with these people and all they want to do was take advantage of me cause i was out of state. these people should not be in the car dealing business and i hope that no one here ever tries to buy a car for AutoHouse USA in Saugus, MA.

thats not the thing though. they said they would get me a brand new head unit from acura. $1187. 5 hondo wouldnt have gotten me anything. they told me they would either get me a new one from acura or something comparable. if they said 8 or 9 i would have settled

 

Honestly...that seems like alot more than other dealerships do. Alot of dealerships are very difficult to deal with and seem to want to make the most profit possible.

 

they knew that i drove 2 hours up there and they had everything ready to go. I told them a few times i was ready to get back in my truck and go home if they didnt take care of the stereo. I didnt even haggle with them. Paid the asking price.
