rims scuffed..

What's the best way to clean up the rims...Mine are a bit scuffed..Anyone here has redone them?Does the shine last?
BTW I'm talking stock...

I've been told that you could sand he rims smooth yourself and then apply your own clear coat. I am pretty sure someone else on this forum would no more about that then I would. But i am planning to refinish my rims myself this summer so if you wait you may see a post from me on how the refinishing turns out.

you sand them down a bit with a soft textured sand paper and then get a clear coat and spray it on, my rims look practically new again and they were majorly scuffed

Hmmmm my front left rim got a scuff, the only one so far. Might try this method sometime soon.
